On behalf of our partner we are looking for a new colleague for the above role.

Your responsibilities

  • Level-1 / Level-2 Incident and Problem Management handling incl. Emergency Service Restoration
  • Incident and Problem Management coordination
  • Monitoring and ensuring the network and service quality
  • Preparation and Execution of Change Management activities
  • Support rollout activities and coordinate rollout actions, schedules and plans between customer technical team and ZTE engineering team
  • Customer interface for complex technical core network issues, new requests, features and software problems and manage internal communication with local team and global R&D center.
  • Coordinate actions and investigation of technical Issues between Customer regional care management, tier2 / tier3 / Product Line support teams
  • Configuration Management - Implement new configurations or parameters in production system and verify network performance
  • Provide project rollout support for rollout plan, rollout process, rollout document, rollout efficiency and rollout quality
  • Support to perform software feature validation and regression tests and ensure proper documentation / test reports will be provided to customer
  • Carry on RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for complex issues, communicate with customer till problem is solved and RCA report was accepted by customer
  • Provide follow-up investigation and resolution of Core network elements with R&D product line
  • Quality Assurance to meet the defined KPI and SLA targets
  • Regular Reporting of service, network and KPI status
  • Continuous improvement of processes and procedures in the daily business and operations
  • Participation of regular customer operations review meetings
  • Regular 24x7 On-Call service
  • Individual contributions to the team are emphasized and requested
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or higher education in Telecommunications / Electronics Engineering / IT or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in support or engineering activities on CS / PS core networks, with a proper understanding of the interfaces to the RAN network.
  • Preference will be given to candidates that already have experience on ZTE’s equipment

  • Familiar with core network elements e.g. MSC, HLR, SGSN, GGSN, MGW
  • Familiar with network interface protocols, protocol analyzers and network specifications
  • Understanding of virtualization environment (VNF / NFV)
  • Understanding of IMS
  • Understanding of operations services
  • Proactive, self-motivated and with rich communication skills
  • Excellent team worker, particularly in cross cultural teams
  • Stress resistance to manage in multi-cultural and geographically separated teams
  • Willingness to occasionally work over-time and travel in CEE region
  • Proficient in English (clear command of English in speaking and writing)
