Objectives and Responsibilities of the Head of SalesSupport

Leadership / Supervisory Role :

  • The first and most prominent role of the Head of SalesSupport is to provide leadership and direction to the entire sales supportdepartment.
  • S he establishes and oversees the adoption of the supportdepartment’s vision, goals and objectives at all levels.
  • leads ground support for sales support agents, developingand implementing efficient officers
  • This is inclusive of leading analyses, workshops, and thedevelopment of recommendations for consumer insights for review by the Directorof Sales and key stakeholder meetings.
  • In his leadership role, the Head of Sales Support ensuresthat sales support department needs are correctly prioritized in orderallocation of resources.

  • toexpert for senior sales management within the sales department and the businessat large.

  • also plays a mentorship role to key sales supportpersonnel by assisting in the execution of their duties upon request, ensuringconstant sharpening of their skills and grooming them for the occupation of hisposition in the future.
  • Strategy :

  • The Head of sales Support plays the lead role in strategyformulation for the sales support department.
  • She also oversees and determines key strategic directionand objectives of customer support department.
  • The Head of Sales Support drives necessary changes forthe improvement of operating and organizational efficiency of the customersupport team.
  • She orchestrates the continuous improvement of customerexperience through the formulation or constant improvement of the approachesand strategies applied by the team.
  • also supports the relevance of the business’s customerloyalty targets in order to ensure that they are communicated and appliedcorrectly across the sales department as a whole.
  • Analytics :

  • The Head of Sales Support is also tasked with a strategicrole, where she measures the effectiveness of all sales and customer supportapproaches and initiatives
  • is also tasked with conducting financial analysis for thedepartment, managing the departmental budget, voicing any additional financialsupport to the finance department for the purpose of facilitating improvementin customer support initiatives.
  • She additionally creates reports and strategicrecommendations from various customer support research and analyses, which shepresents to the Director of Sales, the Chief Sales Officer, and relevantstakeholders.
  • Relationships :

  • The Head of Sales Support is also in charge of managingboth internal and external relationships on behalf of the sales and customersupport department.
  • She is in charge of all top administration customersupport management and stakeholders as well as engaging in direct interactionswith the business’s consumers.
  • Other Duties :

  • TheHead of sales Support also performs other duties as are she deems necessary inthe execution of her duties or duties as delegated by the Director of Sales, theChief Sales Officer, or the Employer.
