Job Description

In this challenging role you will support the Head of BioLife EU Operations in achieving financial targets and metrics for our plasma centers in Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary.

With your pro-active approach, excellent business acumen and clear communication style, you will act as connector between different levels of the organisation and ensure a smooth flow of the day-to-day business.

Your Opportunity :

Act as a strong objective advisor to the Head of BioLife : maximizing team and organization effectiveness, evaluating opportunities, risks and scenarios as well as developing comprehensive integrated recommendations to facilitate efficient decision making

Provide vision, leadership and mentoring to the team to meet specific program objectives

Point of contact between top management and other stakeholders as well as trusted advisor to the senior leadership team

Co-)Develop and manage the implementation of strategic initiatives in the BioLife EU centers

Ongoing monitoring and tracking of progress of strategic goals and objectives (alignment of the organization on key topics, providing overview and guidance on projects of high importance)

Analyze and track the performance of the centers

Facilitate preparation and analysis of business reviews, goal setting, routine evaluation of processes and progress against BioLife strategy

Implement cost reduction and volume optimization strategies

Work collaboratively with the Center Operations Country Leads and their teams by providing support to overcome day-to-day obstacles

Represent Operations on governance meetings in partnership with other departments to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner

Serve as the central source for communication to the centers

Influence and provide operational expertise and leadership to cross-functional initiatives

Collaborate with Quality, Center Operations Heads, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing and Business Excellence on different projects

Your Skills and Qualifications :

Completed education with a business orientation

Several years of experience in a global and fast-paced corporate environment

Significant experience in managing and facilitating cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Entrepreneurial, decisive thinking and acting while complying with all relevant requirements in a highly regulated environment

Proven ability to collaborate and establish trust as well as negotiate competing priorities

Appreciative, empathetic and motivating teamplayer with a desire to grow into a people management role

Excellent German and English skills required, further languages beneficial

Very good IT user skills

Willingness to travel up to 25% (Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary), the rest of the working time can be managed in a combination of homeoffice and from the head office in Vienna or one of the BioLife centers (regular personal meetings in Vienna required)

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important and responsible position is € ,92 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry).
