Cytiva is currently expanding our Manufacturing facility in Pasching, Austria. We are looking for a Country Human Resources Manager (m / f / d) who will lead the function at the site and for Austria.

The role will provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with specific focus on employee advocacy / engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, and acquisition as appropriate.

The role is part of the site leadership and will work with key business functions both at the site and in the country to define and drive the business strategy.

What you’ll do

Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into critical HR actions, programs, and initiatives

Provide excellent human resources partnership to the management team and associates including input and direction regarding team development, organizational development, personal / professional development of associates, and employee relations matters.

Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues.

Responsible for ensuring that the site designs, maintains, and develops a robust culture to ensure a safe, stimulating, and socially responsible working environment that also meets industry best practices for overall employee experience.

Collaborate and negotiate with Works Councils

Facilitate leadership development programs and training courses and support training and development activities

Manage annual performance management and compensation processes for client groups

Maintain and provide analytics to various stakeholders

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and investigations and provide advice and counsel regarding labor law topics

Develop HR Generalist and HR Assistant.

Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration

Minimum 8 years of relevant human resources generalist experience plus 2+ years leadership experience

Experience supporting manufacturing-based organizations is preferable

Solid knowledge of local labor law

Fluent in German and English

Working knowledge of Workday is a plus

Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Candidate must have excellent verbal, written, listening and influence skills and be able to present facts clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization

Possess strong time management and organizational skills

Candidate must have solid team skills, ability to build relationships, and be able to work efficiently and effective with associates at all levels of the organization

Proven experience working with confidential or sensitive information

The salary for this position is approx. EUR 73.000 gross per year (full-time, all-in), the actual salary depends on qualifications and professional experience.
