Andritz Group Legal Department is lookinf for a (Senior) Legal Counsel for Corporate & M&A matters

The Andritz Group has a substantial track record in growing its business through acquisitions and successfully developing companies thereafter.

The Group Legal Department is a major contributor to the success of our M&A transactions and is involved in a wide range of international activities of M&A professionals.

Within the Group Legal Department we have formed a global Practise Group of Legal M&A specialists which collaborate in internaltion transactions.

For our biggest hub in EMEA and located near the headoffice function we are recruiting a (senior) legal M&A specialist in Vienna.

Tasks :

  • Provide high quality legal support for cross-border M&A transactions along their entire life-cycle (due diligence, SPA negotations, merger filings, closing, post closing, integration support) in close cooperation with our Group Business Development team and with senior executives of the Andritz Group
  • Supervising and supporting the corporate housekeeping for around 200 ANDRITZ Group affiliates worldwide
  • Advise on internal corporate restructuring projects (mergers, demergers etc.) in close cooperation with internal and external tax experts
  • Experienced with the legal requirements and challenges in Joint Ventures and Start-ups
  • Corporate Governance support in close cooperation with Group Compliance Function and Senior Management
  • Provide high quality corporate law advice to executives of ANDRITZ Group
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Group Legal Department as well as with the teams of Group Business Development and Group Controlling
  • Experience :

  • 7-15 years of relevenat experience in law-firms or inhouse legal departments in a multinational corporation
  • Completed Study of Law and ideally bar exam
  • Experience in leading and coordinating international transaction teams
  • Working knowledge of various legal systems
  • Langage skills : German, English and ideally additional working language
  • Personal competences : hands-on, agile and fast while being throrough, ready to take on responsibilies and capabilites of coordiation and team work, business minded, communicative, capability to work in and adapt to different cultural, legal and business contexts.

    We are required by law for this position the collective agreement minimum salary of gross 3.818,86 / month.

    However, we offer in any case a payment in line with the market depending on qualifications and professional experience!
