Our Automotive (ATV) division in Graz is currently looking for a Project Manager with a hands-on mentality to help us realizing our goal.

In your new role, you will drive the development from product definition to volume production . You will be responsible for managing , organizing and controlling (sub-)projects for automotive radar applications and for assuring its progress and success.

In this job you will :

  • Manage and control the entire project life-cycle and ensure hand-over to the sustaining function as the main point of contact for all project related issues .
  • Be fully responsible for all operational decisions in the project and for the successful achievement of project targets (time, quality, cost and budget) even when facing challenges.
  • Organize and structure projects with moderate to high complexity , risk and operational impact .
  • Form and lead a diverse and interdisciplinary project team in an international , cross-site environment and keep it accountable.
  • Conduct a forward-looking deviation and risk management . Work closely with your stakeholders to identify potential remediation and / or backup scenarios .
  • Continuously focus on project quality , assess and report progress .
  • As a Project Manager you deal with interesting projects and products. That offers a lot of scope for action , both from a management and a technical perspective .

    You keep track of your project and always have the big picture in mind . As you accompany a product along the entire development cycle, you always think at least one step ahead.

    In addition, you have strong organizational and communication skills . This helps you breaking down complex issues and negotiate with middle and upper management.

    As the corporate culture and atmosphere in the teams are fostering informal exchange, it helps to be an excellent communicator .

    You are best equipped for this task if you have :

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering , Physics , Microelectronics or similar
  • At least 6 years of experience in leading (sub-)projects in the semiconductor industry or related fields
  • Experience as a project manager with demonstrated project success (IPMA Level D / C Certification) is a desired plus
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge about automotive standards (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21434) is highly appreciated
  • Presentation skills and self-confidence
  • Good English skills . German skills are a plus
  • This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I-H (https : / / www.
