Group Securities Compliance Officer (f / m / d)

Group Securities Compliance (GSC) is responsible for the implementation of and adherence to Securities Compliance regulations (external legal regulations MiFID, Market Abuse Regulation a.
o.) as well as internal regulations for Erste Group Bank AG and various subsidiaries to prevent misbehaviour in the securities business.
In fulfillment of the task as a Group function, GSC secures a groupwide Compliance Standard in order to meet legal requirements and specific standards for banking business.
Your tasks
You support the Securities Compliance team in the areas of market manipulation (MAR), personal account dealings and conflicts of interest (MiFID)
You support the development and improvement of group wide standards and policies to enhance the Securities Compliance standards in Erste Group and its subsidiaries
You support the first line of defense activities by providing consultancy and professional counselling in the area of Compliance
You ensure a proper reporting for line management, Board and Supervisory Board according to requirements given by law and internal needs
You support to implement and execute the training plan for Erste Group employees and support the creation of training materials (incl.
WBT and face-to-face training)
You perform desk reviews in Erste Group to ensure adherence to internal (policies and procedures) and external (i.a. MiFID, MAD) Securities Compliance rules and regulations
You support group and local projects on demand
Your background
Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal (incl. law firm), compliance, audit or securities business related position
Knowledge of relevant legal framework (MiFID, MAD) is an advantage
Knowledge of capital markets business
Technical / functional skills (Microsoft Office and Systems used in Erste Group)
Self-guided, effective and pro-active work approach
Professional working and communication style
Teamplayer and integrative personality
German and English fluent, CEE language preferred

A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your experience and personal qualifications. By law we are obliged to quote the minimum salary of EUR 38.
