The Regional Marketing Manager DACH position is a critical role in the development of Aruba, the networking business unit (BU) within HPE.

This role is responsible for the implementation and activation of Aruba’s marketing programs and campaigns that are directly linked to sales revenue and involves a close working relationship with sales and channel marketing.

This role reports directly into the EMEA Regional Marketing Manager and will work closely with other marketing groups within HPE.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with sales and channel leaders to align Aruba’s business priorities in Germany, Austria & Switzerland to marketing programs and campaigns
  • Implement and activate focused initiatives, working closely with sales into key accounts within the region
  • Own BU Marketing Plan & Budget in region DACH including prioritization of spent per segment and campaign
  • Own execution of BU end-user initiatives in region across : Corporate Communications including customer case studiesDemand GenerationEvents
  • Work with EMEA Demand Center on Digital Execution including country websites
  • Support X-BU initiatives in region with other HPE marketing groups
  • Education and Experience Required :

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years marketing experience with at least 5 years experience in a field marketing role working across sales and marketing teams.
  • Experience with managing virtual teams.
  • Prior experience in managing direct reports a plus.
  • Sales and / or channel experience a plus.
  • Knowledge and Skills :

  • Master-level knowledge of industry, offering categories, company offerings / strategies, marketing principles / practices / tactics / tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of advertising / direct marketing agency practices and procedures.
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple high-visibility priorities in fast-paced environment.
  • A can-do attitude with examples of projects that have delivered impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and mentor individual contributors.
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate and generate demand in a matrixed organization.
  • Proficient at marketing planning, execution and reporting.
  • Skilled in working within a sales driven organization.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines, both within and outside the company.
  • Experience in sales & marketing planning and operations.
  • Strong negotiator able to clearly articulate the BU strategy with excellent consensus-building and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong budget management skills; able to manage large, complex budgets.
  • Proficiency in English and German language (both written and spoken).
  • We are legally obliged to quote the KV minimum salary (related to KV Handel für Angestellte) for the position (€ 3.374, gross monthly salary with 38,5 h / w).

    For this role an annual salary starting at € 70.000 gross (All-In) is planned - with the willingness to pay significantly more depending on individual experience and qualification plus an extensive benefits program.
