Your responsibilities

As a member of the Global Core Technologies Team you have the chance to develop and build up new technologies of electrical powertrains.

You won't find routines and business as usual - so there is enough space for personal development and new inventions. In this function you are a key player with the following responsibilities :

  • Lead of Inverter / Motor Core Technology (CT) & Platform Modules
  • Responsible that CT meets the global market expectation and key requirements are aligned across all functions / customers
  • Supervises the execution in cross-functional SE-team
  • Responsible for ensuring the profitability of the overall business case and that CT is completive
  • Aligns with other relevant Core Technologies & Building Blocks to ensure flawless functionality of the system
  • Assures the respective Inverter / Motor CT is state of the art and a best fit solution for the MPT product portfolio
  • Challenges OEM , application and CT to minimize any incremental validation or change of specification during acquisition and serial development phase
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Interface to cross-functional teams that are involved in the development of the Inverter / Motor strategy
  • Primary market need alignment through Product Management
  • Sales & End-Customer contact as needed
  • Your profile

  • Master Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international automotive powertrain / vehicle development and a minimum 2 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in business case development and program financials
  • Technical understanding of automotive product, function and technology
  • Very good German and English communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in global collaboration
  • Long term strategic and visionary thinking and acting
  • Result driven and endurance under stress
  • Social & intercultural competence
  • Excellent analytic skills and problem solving competence
  • Salary :

    For this function, we offer an attractive compensation package that matches your individual experience and qualifications.

    The gross monthly salary corresponding to the metal collective agreement for 38.5 hours is at least 4.293,18 (14 x p.a.)..
