CloudOps Database Administrator AT - Vienna The CloudOps DBA is a critical part of our SaaS platform strategy. In this role you will work closely with engineering and operations to ensure the availability and performance of databases running production workloads.

You will join an established Cloud Operations team and work in partnership with application architects, developers and DBA's.

As a CloudOps DBA, you will design, implement, test, deploy and support observability and maintenance solutions for our product databases.

You will proactively support engineers as they develop and operate their product. You will deploy and configure comprehensive monitoring tools used for alerting of performance issues and drive any issues to resolution alongside engineering.

You will assist in maintaining SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance. Essential Job duties and responsibilities :

Be the SME for production databases, have an understanding of the schema of multiple products and how data is exchanged between them.

Monitor db metrics and query performance, provide feedback to engineering for any improvements needed. Design and implement guardrails to protect the availability and performance of multi-tenant databases.

Participate in follow-the-sun on-call and maintenance of Operations Runbook. Manage access to the database and any backend data manipulation that may be needed.

Participate in DR and BCP planning and testing with operations and engineering team. Collaborate and mentor engineering teams in developing scalable, performant applications.

Provide continuous feedback to Product, Engineering and Cloud Operations teams. Qualifications :

3+ years in a DBA role, working with MS SQL and / or MongoDB. 1+ years experience with one or more scripting languages, such as powershell, bash, or python.

2+ years of full-time experience building and operating solutions on Azure. 2+ years of working with linux, windows. Our Package :

Following Austrian law we are indicating the minimum salary at EUR 45.000 gross p.a. for this position. Our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
