  • Implementation of the standard solution architecture for battery test systems (cell, module and pack test systems), including overall system concepts and detailed system requirements
  • Coordination and management of R&D activities in connection with standard solutions
  • Responsibility for the implementation of the system development roadmap from the concept phase to the sales-ready system line
  • Support of the R&D team in the validation of the internal and external hardware and software interfaces with regard to completeness, compatibility and functionality
  • Definition of the acceptance procedures for the complete system, including acceptance procedures for the interfaces to the standard products
  • Definition of the technical content of the documentation at system level for standard solutions
  • Support in the analysis of errors in complex customer projects
  • Definition and ongoing updating of the specifications as well as support during their implementation on the development test benches
  • Communicate and represent AVL’s technical competence
  • Technical support during the implementation of pilot projects at system level

  • Degree in electrical or similar engineering field
  • At least 3 years of work experience with Li-ion batteries
  • Three or more years of experience in operating test benches and testing in a product development environment an advantage
  • Knowledgeable to analyze system requirements and their breakdown according to technical specifications, in particular of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Well experienced in planning, prioritizing, estimating costs, timelines, risks assessments
  • Experienced in technical management tasks
  • Experienced in designing to safety standards an advantage
  • Systematic, analytical approach
  • Communication and teamworking skills
  • Structured and reliable working method
  • Readiness to travel internationally
  • Good English skills, German skills an advantage
