As part of Global Material Group Management, you will contribute to Doka's global indirect spend. This is an important area of spend in a global organisation.
The Category Indirect Team has the task to develop effective strategies with the aim to increase efficiency as well as to continuously monitor and maintain the implemented strategy.
Among other things, the following tasks fall within your area of responsibility :
As a Business Partner Global Transportation (m / f / d) you will focus on the challenges in the area of logistics and operations and support here with effective procurement
Drawing on analyses from internal and external sources (internal cost analysis, commodity flows and market intelligence).
In your area of responsibility you are the main contact person regarding prices, contract conditions, quality / time specifications and service.
You show responsibility for logistics costs throughout the company, independently drive initiatives and coordinated changes.
You show implementation strength through timely decision making and support of colleagues / countries during implementation
Coordinate category strategies with legal and compliance experts.
Support the Global Procurement Management team in implementing new strategic directives, risk mitigation / compliance and further development of procurement.
Certifications such as C.P.M. desirable
3-5 years of experience in a strategic sourcing function, ideally with specific experience in transport logistics.
Preferably with experience also in fleet management
Excellent language skills (written and spoken) in English and ideally German
Strong analytical skills and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality
Proactive problem solving approach with strong decision making skills
Ability to work flexibly and under pressure
Ability to represent the company to key stakeholders externally
You are globally responsible. Due to several locations in Europe, not only the office in Amstetten but also other locations in Europe would be conceivable.
The salary range will also be adapted to local conditions.
In Austria, we are legally obliged to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 37,557.
38 according to the collective agreement (wood industry). A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, based on the specific qualification and appropriate professional experience.
