As a Regional IT Specialist you are responsible for supporting Client technology and services for NetApp employees located in the Vienna, VA Netapp location as well as remote support for the other geographic regions were NetApp resides.
This includes but not limited to Desktop / Laptop break / fix, reimaging, troubleshooting, desk & mobile phone support. Additionally, you may be asked to assist with telecom, switch, network, idf racking etc in the local office infrastructure changes required at location.
You may also travel between locations to provide onsite support, training, and issue resolution. This is a customer-facing role where your skill at maintaining and developing relationships with internal customers is crucial.

Laptop / Desktop Break-Fix, Remote Helpdesk / Desktop Support, Remote Office onsite Travel
Support OS, variety of applications, security agents / services, and hardware issues for users (MAC OS, Windows, IOS, Android)
Work with IT Infrastructure teams to setup and maintain existing infrastructure environments and assist with local changes.
Excellent communication skills.
Must have knowledge or show experience with supporting environments with Federal security requirements in place for client devices.
Ability to work collaboratively with other IT specialists and cross-functionally with other technical team members.
Self-motivated and able work without direct supervision.
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment.
Creative approach to problem solving.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines.
Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites for installations, troubleshooting, user training, and relationship management.
Familiarity with networking and telecom environments.
