About the role :
The Packaging planner is responsible to create a weekly packaging plan in balancing market needs and production efficiency.
This requires intense alignment with supply chain analysts and the local packaging team in consideration of organizational changes.
Furthermore, it is a responsibility of a specific product group for both the work order reservation and packaging planning.
How you will contribute :
Reservation of packaging work orders :
Choosing of specific lots of all components of a BOM (Bill of Materials) according to present rules and restrictions
Generation of finished goods lot numbers according to given guidelines
Sample retention and due date setting for work orders regarding given leadtimes
Run BOM Report on a daily base to ensure compliance of the WO (Work Order) parts list
Pay special attention to life saving orders to be packed within 24 hours
Work with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions for automatization purpose and focus on continuous improvement in digitization
Packaging planning
Creation of a weekly packaging plan aligned with all different departments and stakeholders
WO scheduling within the planning tool in consideration of deadlines, urgencies, formats, defects, shutdowns and label changes
Intense alignment with Supply Chain analysts and close collaboration with packaging department
Creation of packaging utilization projection for the upcoming weeks and regular communication of the key messages
KPI preparation to measure fulfillment of the weekly plan
Support various improvement projects ( planning wheel, discard reduction, leadtime improvement, new packaging planning tools)
What you bring to Takeda :
Graduation in a technical or economical area (Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, )
Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage but not necessary
Exceptional communication skills and a structured way of thinking and documenting
Outstanding Excel knowledge and analytical skills
Strong digital skillset / affinity and interest in process automation (RPA)
Sound Commercial Business Understanding
Excellent problem-solving and networking skills
Strong German language skills are required, English should be fluent
