The Channel Sales Manager functionally leads a sales force of approximately5-6 representatives and reports to the Senior Management.

He / she isresponsible for executing the Channel business plan by deriving action plans.He / she holds accountability for achievingfinancial targets, increasing themarket share in the market and ensures performance metrics are met in dailyexecution.

We are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong relationship andcommunication skills. The Channel Sales Manager position will be responsiblefor creating and implementing strategies for a successful business withLenovo's managed resellers in Germany.

In addition to people managementresponsibilities, the person owing this position will have responsibility fortheir department’s resources, short-term planning, and budget.

The positionrequires :

  • conducting deep analysis in identifying complex problems : generate andcoordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complexproblems
  • people management responsibilities, including KPI / objective setting,coaching, performance feedback & assessment
  • close cooperation with EMEA & regional management team
  • highly efficient Networking Skills
  • managing external stakeholders
  • Position Requirements :

    The successful candidate will have 5-7 years proven track record in strategicselling, strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership and theentrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate andapproachable. This includes :

  • ability to lead, manage and coach people
  • adapt communications and approaches to drive negotiations with variouspartners to conclusion, resulting in common agreements.
  • Maintain and cultivatesenior executive relationships

  • channel experience, ideally proven established network in business partnerlandscape in Germany
  • demonstrate expertise in building customers relationships, which promote andenable a deep understanding the Reseller business goals and objectives
  • minimum of 3-5 years channel sales experience
  • high comfort-level working in a global, diverse environment
  • fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
