We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Software team in Austria. This is a great opportunity to work on an innovative new product that will impact the life science world.
The position is located in our newly build facility in the Salzburg area (Puch bei Hallein).As our new Software Engineer, you need to be familiar with object oriented and Agile software processes and be self-reliant in implementing new components and contributing to a large code base.
You will have significant development opportunities to increase the understanding of acquisition, measurement and analysis software and their efficient implementation, work with an experienced and successful Agile software team, and improve coding skills.
As a key member of a dynamic, multidisciplinary project team, you will use your interpersonal skills and will understand and help to develop and create world-class technologies, applications, techniques and procedures.
Key Responsibilities : + Develop software for high performance, multi-threaded software products in an Agile-based software development group.
Design and develop software for instrumentation software products, implement and enhance automated tests as part of software development+ Actively work with multi-disciplinary teams to help develop requirements and specifications.
Work closely with software test team to identify and resolve quality issues throughout development.+ Understand requirements of a validation compliant design and development environment, required for regulated market customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.+ Takes responsibility for own personal development and knowing about the market and competition.

Masters / Ph.D. degree in Engineering or business will be an advantage.Experience : Essential : + Minimum of 5 years working in a R&D organization.
Experienced in C# and .Net.+ 5+ years' experience in C#, Java or similar OO languages.+ Experience in Test Driven Development+ Demonstrated ability to create and troubleshoot complex multi threaded applications in C#.
Experience in agile development.Desirable : + Experience in maintaining legacy code as well as developing new products.
Working knowledge of (relational) databases.+ Experience in integrated build environments.+ Experience in project management tools like Jira.
Experience in C and C++.+ Experience working in a regulated environment.Skills : + Excellent English skills, written and spoken to high standard.
