What you achieve

As a 5G Core Engineer for Mission Critical Communication (MCC) services, you are responsible for E2E system setups of core components in 3GPP SA and NSA configurations.

Thanks to you, our 5G networks come to life, and you implement and configure special products and services related to MCC aspects.

You prototype hardware and software solutions in lab environments or at customer's premises. In addition, you closely interact with solution architects supporting them with your technical knowledge.

Development of simulations for feasibility checking and validation of measurement results is deep inside your DNA. But it's not only about wireless communications : From access to backhauling, edge, cloud, core, and orchestration, you can play across the entire telco field.

You assume responsibility for projects from approval to delivery, and you collaborate successfully across departments.

Why you succeed

  • Degree (ETH / Uni / UAS) in electrical engineering or physics with specialization in wireless communications
  • Software knowledge in Python, Linux Shell, scripting in general, MATLAB, and MS Office
  • Detailed knowledge of LTE, ideally 5G, wireless communications and cellular networks in general (with knowledge in MIMO systems), RF propagation, antennas, TCP / IP, and networking in general
  • Ability to configure routers, switches, firewalls, and cellular network nodes
  • Strong team player who thrives in agile setups
  • Proactive game-changer as well as leader
  • Very good English, German a plus
