Position Overview

In this exciting and challenging position, you will be responsible for simulations of energy consumption, thermal behavior, efficiency, and performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Technical processing of simulations and results in the area of efficiency and energy consumption, thermal behavior and performance of the complete vehicle
  • Development and verification of simulation processes, models, and methods
  • Definition of requirements for domains to reach complete vehicle targets
  • Analysis, definition, and deduction of requirements for drivetrains
  • Support in the creation of system architectures
  • Derivation of component requirements to fulfill drive functions
  • Organizing and moderating reviews of the created specification
  • Creation of reports and presentation of results
  • Key Qualifications / Requirements

  • completed degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or automotive engineering
  • 5 years of experience in simulation of energy consumption, thermal, performance
  • experience with simulation tools (e.g. Matlab / Simulink; Python; CarSim)
  • expertise in relevant legislation and standards
  • experience in working with (globally) distributed teams
  • strong communication skills in English and German
  • flexibility and willingness to travel
