The Department of Ophthalmology and Optometry of the Medical University of Vienna runs one of the largest eye clinics in Europe.
The clinic harbors Lab for Ophthalmic Image Analysis (OPTIMA), a world-leading research group in the analysis of medical imaging data.
OPTIMA is an interdisciplinary research lab, developing innovative image analysis and machine learning methods for enabling personalized medicine of retinal diseases.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly motivated
We are looking for a candidate to manage and coordinate the full lifecycle of research projects within OPTIMA Lab, from the preparation of grant proposals to the execution and closing of projects.
You will be part of an interdisciplinary team composed of medical doctors and computer scientists and will support their ongoing research efforts in medical image analysis.
Specifically, you will support OPTIMA Lab by :
You have a higher University degree and you are committed, have fast learning ability and effective team-working skills.
This is an administrative management position requiring excellent interpersonal and writing skills, a high level of organization, diplomacy, focus, ability to work under tight deadlines, and familiarity with biomedical research environment.
You also have the following qualifications.
Prior experience working in the public research sector and / or with private-public partnerships will be a plus
