    Location : Gmund, Austria

    Home office : 2 days / week

    Job Purpose

    People Advisor ACH will be responsible for guiding and developing the Austrian / Swissbusiness areas with all people related activities.

    This will be through the provision of specialist People advice, supportand guidance to Managers and employees, ensuring policies and processes areconsistently, and professionally applied in line with legislation and global guidelines.

    Key Accountabilities

    Strong responsible for taking ownership for delivering addedvalue, providing People support to Senior Management and commercially focusedManagers and their teams

    Provide personalised coaching toline managers in terms of people skills and general HR practices includingPerformance Management, Capability, Absence cases, equipping them to handleissues in a commercial, fair and appropriate manner

    Responsible for highlighting any local challenges (legal orcultural) and working with the People team

    Building and developing working relationships with socialpartners, management at regional level as well as within the local leadership

    Contributing and providing local input into to the development ofthe functional Employee Engagement Plan / People plan

  • Working with the People Centre of Expertise and outsourcedproviders to ensure delivery of : trainings, payroll, effective recruitment andselection processes;
  • reward and recognition mechanisms.

    Capture stakeholder feedback and make recommendations forimprovement

    Handle payroll input actions in cooperation with the externalpayroll provider and the accounts payable team

    Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Required


  • Proven generalist HR experience showing strong business alignment,providing support and partnering a customer group in a managementenvironment
  • Excellentcommunication skills and a customer centric approach

    Deepworking knowledge of Austrian / Swiss employment law and HR best practiceapproaches

    Ability tomanage difficult and complex cases and stakeholders

    Demonstratethe ability to challenge, build credibility and work effectively with a widerange of stakeholders

    Proven experience of developing and coaching a commerciallyfocused population to engage in people management and improve leadershipskills, with strong personal impact and the ability to influence and engage atall levels of the business

    Collaborative and effective team player used to work in amulti-national matrix organization

    System-affine working method

    Energetic, enthusiastic, proactive

    Fluent German and English is required.
