Taking ownership of new and existing Verification and Validation (V&V) software tools for ADAS / AD Cyber-physical Systems (CPS)

Coordinate a team of software developers for V&V CPS tools

Working closely with simulation team to create test scenarios based on developed methodologies

Working closely with AVL Instrumentation and Test Systems (ITS) business unit to adapt the tools and requirements to the needs of the V&V methods developed

Design software architectures and investigate new algorithms to improve and develop ADAS / AD V&V tools

Writing technical and software design documentation

Developing REST Services / APIs

Cloud pipeline setup and execution (e.g. AWS, Azure)

Completed studies (FH, TU) in software engineering or computer science

At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience

In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented principles and practices

Extensive experience with source control (Git)

Good software architecture knowledge

Experience with large, complex projects with demanding customers

Experience within an Agile development environment and knowledge of the Agile process

Strong Python skills, C, C++, C#, Linux OS, Linux Docker Containers an advantage

Experience with ADAS / AD V&V, Simulation, Ontologies and R&D projects an advantage

Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills and working with international teams

Showing strong initiative, analytical thinking, and business acumen

Very good spoken and written English

Willingness to travel
