0' services. These services specifically focus on end-to-end safety and security of automation and robotics in the manufacturing industry.

Reporting to the EVP of Industrial services, you will design and execute the growth strategy and formulate a portfolio road map of preferred activities, a go-to-market strategy, identify potential targets and help deliver transactions and ownership of resultant integration activity.

SGS being a highly decentralized matrix organisation, you will also provide traditional commercial support to SGS affiliates and work closely with SGS's Corporate Development team during acquisition case building and due diligence.

More specifically you will : Develop and communicate global strategies to the Industrial management based in SGS affiliate.

Conduct and maintain continuous market analysis to determine customer needs, understand pricing,evaluate trends and understand new business opportunitiesLead significant commercial outreach into the manufacturing industry sector in the areas of research, technology trends, technical committees, trade shows and target prospecting, etc.

Estimate demands for proposed projects based on market research and customer trend and work with affiliates to ensure SGS is well positioned to meet the demandsProvide technical guidance for major RFQ s and support affiliates and global management in dealing with negotiations, bids, contract development acquisitions and budgetingAnalyze the financial impact of sales of products and services to new and existing customersDevelop a pipeline of suitable acquisition targets and serve as an integral part of integration strategy and successful execution.

Develop a pipeline of organic opportunities with specific focus on outsourcing opportunities. QualificationsTo make an impact, we believe that you should be able to demonstrate the following skills : Innovative and entrepreneurial spiritAbility to develop, implement and support strategies Results and profit drivenAbility to act independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneouslyRecognized planning, organizational and project management skills Comfortable interacting with all levels of management both within your own organisation and within client organisationsAbility to partner effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teamsRecognized persuasion and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced changing environmentWe would expect you have to acquired skillset thanks to the following : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science or Engineering that’s directly applicable to the manufacturing industryBusiness degree combined with significant manufacturing industry experience.

Successful experience of developing services and / or products and bringing them to the market Minimum 10 years of broad base management / commercial experience in manufacturing industry at a global scaleExperience of successful acquisition transactions, post-merger integration, financial transactions, business development and business strategy formulation.

Additional InformationWhile this position is advertised as being based in Germany, we would consider hiring the right person anywhere in Europe.
