HOERBIGER Business Unit EET is a supplier of unique products in technology focused markets. EET - Engine Technology is one of the lead suppliers for performance defining technology for reciprocating natural gas and hydrogen engines to diverse OEMs.

Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer (ME) is a part of product management group closely interacting with R&D department. ME actively participates in early stage of development by providing feedback to R&D group considering design requirements of future serial production.

ME determines, designs, validates and optimizes assembly steps (manual, semi-automatic, automatic). ME choose the best technology and process to assemble / manufacture the product at best achievable cost while considering planned production line throughput, industry relevant standards, safety, etc.

ME works together with internal- and external- suppliers and participates in investments planning for upcoming serial production of gas injectors.

  • Independently determine, design, validate and optimize manufacturing / assembly processes
  • Identify and / or generate all documentation related to the integration of new products into the production environment
  • Define requirements for new equipment
  • Provide assistance in the assembly and maintenance of engineering and other technical files
  • Review design in early development stage from production perspective and provides feedback to R&D engineering
  • Closely cooperates with production plant located in Poland
  • Requirements

  • Higher Technical Education (HTL) or similar
  • Min 3 years’ experience in manufacturing / industrial engineering or relevant field concerning manufacturing / assembly processes
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong language skills (oral and written) in English and German
  • Ability to work in the interdisciplinary team within global organization
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor, SAP & LabView as an advantage
  • Self-motivated, hands-on approach
  • Willingness to travel
