Responsibility for chassis development, concepts, kinematics and design

Constructive development and implementation of innovative chassis concepts (component, system and vehicle level) taking into account function, manufacturability, material selection (lightweight construction), costs, variety of parts, legal requirements

Design of kinematics, definition and optimization of tree space models, topology, construction as well as strength, dynamics and durability requirements of chassis components

Collaboration with project design teams and / or with partners and suppliers

Close cooperation and coordination with simulation and testing teams

Derive relevant requirements and quantity structures for development scopes based on customer requests, participate in proposal presentations to customers

Successfully completed degree (FH / TU) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or comparable field of study

At least 5 years of professional experience in the area of chassis design

Knowledge of the relevant tools and CAD programs (including Catia, NX, etc.)

Experience in working with OEM's worldwide

Enthusiasm for automotive development and technical innovation

Accurate work style and initiative

Very good English skills
