About the Role :

  • Ensure overall integrity of the Administration function having the ultimate accountability for the Function and provide the highest level of advice and support to the General Manager and / or functional superior.
  • Assure the governance and the accuracy of the Finance related data, processes and transactions.
  • Secure the administrative and fiscal compliance.
  • Perform and supervise the daily accounting activities in accordance with statutory accounting principles (local GAAP, IAS and IFRS) and Group standards, in line with the legal local requirements and the internal Group policies and procedures.
  • Assure a consistent Credit Management process.
  • Leads, directs, develops and evaluates a team of financial and accounting professionals (5HC)
  • Support and contribute to the Business management guidance and to the strategic planning and decision making at local level.
  • Support the local CFO and the Region Finance Team in the dialogue with the Area Europe and the Group Functions.
  • Main Responsibilities :

  • Direct ownership of the following areas’ of the Finance scope :
  • Financial & Accounting Transactions & Business Process Outsourcing management
  • IFRS Financial Reporting, Statutory Financial Statements
  • TAX, Insurance & Customs Management
  • Data input to Region Consolidation
  • Corporate Affairs Governance
  • Process / Procedure Local Governance
  • Relation with Area EU / Group Functions.
  • Assure the management of the accounting cycles (Sales Order to Invoice, Invoice to Cash, Procurement to Pay, Record to Reporting, Intercompany flows and reconciliation, Asset Accounting).
  • Supervise the general procurement approval process.
  • Ensure compliance with Statutory regulations and Group requirements, defining the Financial Statements (profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statement) to be locally audited and securing the accounting and managerial period closures (Monthly End Closure and Year End Closure).
  • VAT declaration, Tax returns and corporate income tax preparation, Intrastat reporting.
  • Proof of performance process monitoring, calculation and invoicing of monthly commercial conditions for Clients
  • Contribute to the Product costing definition to support and manage properly the Pricing process
  • Swift / Manual Payment preparation (invoice, taxes, salary, Intercompany)
  • Tax payments (direct and indirect).
  • Direct and discretionary Cash flow planning preparation and reporting to the Group
  • Ensure a proper management of the relationship with the local banks and the Tax local Authority with the support of the Tax Advisory
  • Contribute to the internal controls system documentation according to Group GRC policy (Governance, Risk, Compliance)
  • Assists Tax Advisory consultants and Group internal and external Auditors in information and documentation request inherent to the Audits
  • Supports other departments in miscellaneous projects / business initiatives.
  • Operate in accordance with Group guidelines to recruit, manage, motivate, coach and develop Administration dept. own staff, assuring an effective and efficient management of assigned personnel and guaranteeing own resources professional development, evaluating people and proposing training and development initiatives.

  • Who we are looking for :

  • Bachelors’ degree in Economics
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Finance & Accounting in a multinational environment, with solid experience in people management and team working
  • German mother tongue
  • Fluency in English language
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Excellent SAP Knowledge, HFM and Essbase know-how as distinctive skill
  • Inclusive Finance leadership
