Senior Entity Accountant (m / f / d)

Responsibilities

Demonstrating full operational responsibility for at least one of our sites to ensure all Accounting-to-Reporting deliverables are successfully achieved (Master Data, Accounting Accuracy, Intercompany and Month-End Closing)

Working closely with counterparts in other Business Service Center and the Global Process Organization to ensure global processes and execution

Monitoring and assuring root cause analysis of errors and corrective actions are taken

Designing and implementing ways to streamline and standardize operations

Building and developing network and partnerships with key finance and business leaders

Understanding the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of company’s financial processes and systems

Supporting Source-to-Settle and Order-to-Cash activities with local business and Business Service Centers

Challenging the status quo and champion new ideas

Supporting internal and external audits

Assisting the preparation of the local reporting (UGB, Statistics)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance

Solid experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company

Experience with local and US GAAP desired

Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (SAP, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required

Excellent German and English communication skills (verbal and written) and effective communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required

Advanced problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement new processes

Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, under pressure and with a high degree of professionalism, remaining focused through change or uncertainty

Team player with focus on collaboration

The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 55.300,- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
