Duties & Responsibilities

  • Taking over the IT system lead responsibilities for existing and / or new IT solutions in the area of operational historians and factory automation
  • Close collaboration with business, engineering, diverse IT disciplines and software and equipment vendors to deliver a complete system lifecycle of these solutions, including conceptualization, planning, implementation, maintenance and support
  • Leading IT projects or participating in cross-functional project teams in a global, multicultural and diverse environment
  • Consulting business colleagues on solution alternatives and process adaptations to achieve effective and efficient technical solutions in a timely manner
  • Ensuring a full compliance of your solutions, with regards to GxP, security, etc
  • Requirements

  • Multiple years of professional experience in managing operational historians such as Acron, OSI-PI or inmation
  • Very good understanding about SCADA, DCS and PLC systems and the used communication protocols and interfaces like OPC or ODBC
  • Very good understanding of IT and OT architecture and technologies in the field of manufacturing and Manufacturing Operations Systems (ISA88, ISA95)
  • Good knowledge in operating systems (Linux or Windows), databases (MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL or Postgres), network technologies, Citrix and VMWare environment
  • German and English working proficiency (verbal and written)

  • We offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least € 50,000 gross per year / full-time).
