As an IT Architect (m / f / d), you are responsible for planning the data center related implementation of projects related to new virtual servers, network components and hypervisors.
You will be part of a team that designs, develops and operates multiple global remote service platforms in an industrial environment.
Your tasks :
Participation within operational and security teams for datacenter related issues, OS upgrades and network planning
Participation within architecture team for change projects
Create status change boards (Confluence) and share the actual status with the project managers, operation and security teams
Design and implement SW / HW Life-Cycle processes (server-request until server decommission)
Implement efficient configuration management system over different datacenter and tools
Responsible to automate and implement the user management on Linux servers (based on Identity-Access-Model).
Responsible for Customer config-management & security tools
Your skills :
Mandatory Linux knowledge with focus on user-management, server dimensioning and network configuration (e.g., adduser, df, telnet, traceroute, route)
Basic knowledge about network services e.g., DHCP, DNS (e.g., ip, nslookup)
Basic knowledge of docker container
Willing to document changes and configuration-items (e.g., server, router, firewalls, etc.)
The team works in an international environment, therefore English is essential
You will work on highly innovative projects together with multiple teams. You should have high level of learning ability, good communication skills as well as high social skills.
